Fourth Annual Conference - October 9, 2009

These are challenging times for parents. The Fourth Annual Conference on Family Solutions: Parenting in A Chaotic World is for individuals interested in the problems facing today’s parents as they raise the next generation. Parents, clergy, helping professionals, teachers and school personnel will find useful and stimulating ideas for moving beyond family life high-jacked by problems with children and towards what Dr. Gilbert calls “extraordinary relationships.”

Dr. Gilbert brings a lifetime of experience in psychiatry and family systems teaching and coaching to this conference. Using her own experience as a parent she will offer a day that outlines Bowen theory and some of its many practical applications to the family concerned about the problems of its children.Dr. Gilbert is the author of Connecting with Our Children, Extraordinary Relationships, Extraordinary Leadership and more.

The conference is scheduled for Friday October 9, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. The location is Eastern Mennonite Seminary on the campus of EMU.
